This exists for net control. A
station taking check-ins who misses a callsign can read it back here
afterwards, which the live list could not do — it held fifty entries
and lost them on every restart. Text messages arrive as one-frame
data bursts and are marked as such, so they do not bury the voice
traffic. How long the record is kept is dmr.calls.retain
in the configuration.
